How the Soku Minute Mattress system works

Introduction

The Soku Minute Mattress system introduces a breakthrough in rapid, hygienic, and scalable mattress deployment. Using technology adapted from the packaging industry, the system enables organizations to provide safe, comfortable sleeping solutions in any environment—quickly, reliably, and sustainably.

The Technology Behind Inflation

  • Industrial-Grade Foil System: The core of each mattress is a cartridge of European-produced LDPE foil, prepared with welds and tear seams at fixed intervals. This allows each mattress to be easily separated at the moment of use.
  • External Inflator Machine: When needed, a cartridge is attached to the external inflator at the deployment site. This compact, robust machine—proven in industrial settings—blows air into the foil chambers, inflating each mattress rapidly and efficiently.
  • Operator Simplicity: One operator can prepare the inflator and start the process. Preparing the inflator and placing the first cartridge with mattresses takes about one minute. After that, up to 200 mattresses (Soku Minute Mattress – Economy) can be made ready for use per hour by a single operator.

Materials Used

  • High-Quality LDPE Foil: The foil is formed using European produced LDPE via blown film extrusion, ensuring durability and consistent quality.
  • Minimal material per mattress: Each Soku Minute Mattress – Economy uses only 170 grams of material, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.

Step-by-Step: How the Inflation Mechanism Works

  1. Load the Foil: The operator inserts the mattress cartridge into the inflator’s feed and secures it.
  2. Start the Inflator: The operator presses the start button.
  3. Inflation: The inflator takes foil from the cartridge and simultaneously blows air into the air chambers from the side.
  4. Sealing: The inflator seals the air chambers as it fills.
  5. Separation: Once the air chambers are filled the operator can separate the mattress at the tear-off line.
  6. Repeat: The process continues for each mattress, with the operator able to produce up to 200 mattresses per hour.

Key Advantages

  • Rapid Deployment: Enables mass production of air mattresses on-site, ideal for emergencies, events and large-scale operations.
  • Hygienic & Single-Use: Each mattress is freshly made and can be used once, preventing cross-contamination.
  • Sustainable: Minimal material use, recyclable LDPE, and efficient logistics.
  • Operator-Friendly: Simple setup and operation; one person can manage high output.

Certifications & Compliance

The film used for the product is made has the following certifications.

Aspect Certification / Standard Benefit
Material Safety EU 10/2011, 1935/2004 Food-contact safe
Production Quality ISO 9001, BRCGS AA Consistent, traceable, hygienic
Environmental Impact ISO 14001, EcoChain LCA Low CO2, recyclable, waste minimal
Chemical Safety REACH (no SVHCs) No harmful substances

Why This System Is Unique

  • Adapted from proven industrial technology for reliability and scalability.
  • No built-in electronics, valves or pumps in the mattress itself—reducing cost, weight, and complexity.
  • Designed for high-volume, high-speed deployment by a single operator.
